iPhone 16 Pro New Features Leaked Before September Reveal
The much-anticipated launch of the iPhone 16 Pro Max 2024 is just around the corner, with Apple expected to hold its annual iPhone event, likely on the 10th of September.
As the release date approaches, excitement is building over the new features and upgrades the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are going to bring to the table.
Here is a rundown of what Apple’s newest flagship devices might bring to the table.
Bigger and Better Displays
Probably one of the major changes this time around with the 2024 iPhone 16 Pro Max 2024 display is the increase in display size.
This year, the regular iPhone 16 and the 16 Plus will maintain the same size as last year’s models. However, the Pros will get a noticeable size boost.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max 2024 is rumored to have a 6.3-inch display – quite of an upgrade from the 6.1-inch screen on the iPhone 15 Pro. The iPhone 16 Pro Max, on the other hand, is due to sport a 6.9-inch display, up from 6.7 inches in the company’s predecessor.
While this may seem like just a screen size bump, it will likely be well received, offering a slightly fuller viewing experience with minimal changes to the device’s overall dimensions.
AI and iPhone Camera Capabilities
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max 2024 will come fitted with a new A18 Pro chip, enhancing both the central processing unit and graphics processing unit. More emphasis shall, therefore, be on this chip upgrade, hopefully belonging to the Neural Engine – one huge improvement on the task done by the AIs.
That is most likely going to make the device future-proof against AI applications that demand more of it.
The camera system on the iPhone 16 Pro, though, will receive more upgrades.
The Ultra-Wide will be bumped up to 48MP from its current 12MP to improve photo quality and capture more details in spatial videos. The 16 Pro model will now feature a 5x optical zoom, previously available only on the larger Pro Max, making it top-of-the-line regarding zoom capability.
Added to this, the update in the main camera sensor will improve low-light photography, further enhancing the quality of night mode shots.
New Design and Improved Battery Life
Apple is also coming out with new color options for the iPhone 16 Pro max 2024, moving away from last year’s titanium finishes to more varied choices, including a bronze-toned ‘Desert Titanium’ and darker Black Titanium, bringing refreshing plus premium looks to the devices.
Battery life is another area where users can expect improvements.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max 2024 will have a larger battery capacity, increasing from 3,274mAh to 3,577mAh, while the Pro Max will see a jump from 4,422mAh to 4,676mAh.
Apple is also enhancing the thermal design of the devices to reduce overheating, which should contribute to a more reliable and consistent user experience.
