On September 6th, Nokia will unveil its latest addition to the world of smartphones, a new 5G model, following the release of its video teaser three days ago.

Despite the lack of information, the teaser video showcases the smartphone that Nokia describes in its own words: “A smartphone that ticks all the right boxes – 5G enabled, impressive battery life, AI-powered 50 MP triple-rear camera, seamless performance, and a sleek, minimalistic design.”

Nokia is keeping us guessing by not releasing any official information about the phone. So here are some of the rumors flying around about the new Nokia 5G smartphone. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor – a mid-range processor that offers good performance and power efficiency used for gaming, video streaming and other demanding tasks. The smartphone is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display, a triple-lens rear camera system, a 4,500 mAh battery, and is expected to run on Android 13.

Maybe it is a little frustrating for potential customers seeking more details to wait until September 6th . This lack of specific details could be based on several reasons. The smartphone is still in development, and the company is not yet ready to release all the details. Besides that, Nokia is waiting for the reaction of other 5G smartphones before releasing more information about its own phone. On top of that Nokia is trying to keep the phone a secret until it is closer to the launch.

Last month, Nokia’s most recent smartphones launched in the US: the Nokia G310 5G and the Nokia C210.

The Nokia G310 5G is an affordable 5G smartphone that features a 6.56-inch HD+ display, a Snapdragon 480+ processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It also features a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP for selfies and video calls. The phone also runs on Android 13 and is priced at $186.

The Nokia C210 is a budget-friendly smartphone that features a 6.3-inch HD+ display, a Snapdragon 662 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It also has a 13MP main camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The phone runs Android 13 and is priced at $109.

Does it count enough to only reveal the above statement? This information leaves us guessing whether the upcoming smartphone will be the Nokia G310 5G or the Nokia C210 series. For now, Nokia maybe is depending on having our undivided attention.
