On September 9, during the much-anticipated Apple September event 2024, “It’s Glowtime”, the Big Tech giant will launch a lineup of iPhone 16 devices, as well as a range of AI-driven products.

  • iPhone 16 Series

The iPhone 16 series will be the star of the Apple September event 2024, featuring four lead models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

All these models will have slightly larger screens, with the iPhone 16 Pro at 6.3 inches and the Pro Max at 6.9 inches. AI models integrated into this lineup will include 8GB memory to handle advanced AI features.

The most awaited feature is the new Capture Button, offering a more intuitive photography experience.

  • Series 10 Apple Watch

During the Apple September event 2024, the iPhone parent will also unmask the Apple Watch Series 10, expected to be 45mm and 49mm in size, making it a bit larger than the older model.

The latest model will be thinner and complemented by a resin-coated copper logic board to enhance durability and water resistance.

The company has also been working on advanced health features, including hypertension and sleep apnea detection, these might not be ready at launch, though.

  • Apple Watch Ultra 3

Rumors has it that the Apple Watch Ultra 3 will stay true to the the same design of the Ultra 2 but will feature a new processor for future AI capabilities.

While the giant is making changes to the functionality of the Apple watch ultra 3, noteworthy hardware changes are not anticipated as Apple is reportedly focusing on software-enhanced updates for better health tracking and performance.

  • AirPods 4

In the Apple September event 2024, the Cupertino-based giant is expected to launch the fourth-generation AirPods, available in two versions at different price points. Both versions will have a new design with shorter stems and a USB-C port replacing the Lightning connector.

The higher-priced model one will include Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to reduce unwanted background noises and an additional speaker on a charging case to improve the ‘Find My’ funtionality.

  • AirPods Max 2

Another rumor surrounding the Apple September event 2024 is that the iOS creator could introduce AirPods Max 2, with an official launch later this year. The updates for the new AirPods include a USB-C port instead of the Lightning connector, along with Bluetooth 5.3 for more efficiency and connectivity.

New color options might be available, although the specifics remain a bit vague.

  • iPad 7 Mini

The iPad mini 7 could also appear at the Apple September event 2024, potentially featuring an A17 Pro chip and camera enhancements. While this upgrade is quite anticipated by fans, for now, it remains uncertain whether this would be part of the Glowtime event or released later in the fall.

iOS 18, Other Software Updates

Following the event, Apple is set to release the final beta versions for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, and visionOS 2. These updates will introduce many new features, focusing on integrating AI through Apple Intelligence.

Experts believe that Apple Intelligence is expected to be one of the major highlights at the “It’s Glowtime” event.

Although Apple Intelligence was introduced at WWDC 2024 back in June, currently, it represents the company’s core investment in AI to enhance user experience and security across all devices.
