du unveils 5G grid project with DEWA for sustainable energy and water use

UAE-based operator du showcased during GITEX Tech Week 2021 their collaboration with Dubai’s Energy and Water Authority (DEWA) a 5G smart grid within the city.

The project will look to deliver a seamless experience amping up Dubai’s on-site operational efficiency. In parallel, the 5G grid will lower water and energy supply costs but automating the process using robotics.
