Samsung, Google Compete for Glory at Unpacked Event
On Thursday, at Samsung’s biggest yearly event, Unpacked, the South Korean giant uncloaked their vision of what Agentic AI would be able to do smartphones, specifically the newer, AI-level smart Galaxy S25 series.
During the event, while Samsung took the spotlight with its conversation on the endless AI capabilities its Galaxy S25 phone, Google representatives at the event, alongside the South Korea giant, took to itself to highlight what Agentic AI would be able to accomplish through its integration with the Galaxy S25 phone.
What Is Agentic AI?
Agentic AI composes machine learning, large language models, and automation into a bunch of semi-autonomous AI capable of adapting to changing conditions. Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S25 comes with an AI assistant that goes beyond just pulling up the first matching image when users ask for something. It considers things like metadata and context to make sure the most relevant result appears.
