Orange – Transforming the online banking experience
After launching its own bank in France, Orange has now moved south, opening its financial services and multiservice strategy in Spain.
Orange bank is a pioneering 100% mobile-based banking option for the Spanish population. Consumers will be able to open an account with a local IBAN with no registration fee. Anyone who opens a savings account will also take advantage of 1% interest on deposits of up to 20,000 Euros; the highest rate in Spain today.
Customers who bank with Orange will be able to access their banking services at any time of day on their mobile. An app with a native interface ensures one of the best experiences on the market. Customers can carry out daily banking operations like checking their expenses, paying with Apple Pay, transferring money and much more. There is an in-app chat function that allows customers to easily interact with agents for help and assistance at the very click of a button.
To ensure that compliance is adhered to, like all banking requirements, customers can access these services safely and securely by using the biometric feature on their smartphone. This eliminates the need to remember long passwords.
One of the most innovative features on the app, is the group management function which allows the sharing and transfer of monies and expenses among several people. Customers will be able to pay or manage subscriptions shared with multiple people, such as an electricity bill or Netflix subscription.
