On Friday, Ultrahuman launched its new AI ovulation tracker ring, Cycle and Ovulation Pro, in Western markets, with a 90% accuracy for irregular cycles, completely eliminating invasive sensors.
The 4$ per month feature uses clinical-grade temperature sensing – precise to 0.003°C, and viO Healthtech’s algorithm trained on 260K cycles, and targets users with PCOS or endometriosis who struggle with traditional 28-day cycle assumptions.
Initially, the tracker ring feature will be for Ring Air users in the US, UK, EU, Australia.
This is a new frontier in ovulation smart tracking, particularly for those with irregular or unpredictable cycles. By combining wearable tech and clinical science, Ultrahuman is creating more accurate, user-friendly, and less invasive fertility without changing your daily life.
Does Ultrahuman Ring Track Ovulation?
To be precise, with the Cycle and Ovulation Pro upgrade, the Ultrahuman Ring Air is a good smart ring for ovulation, and it’s designed especially for people whose cycles don’t fall into the default 28-day category. These are users with medical conditions such as PCOS, thyroid issues, and endometriosis.
To power this new ovulation smart tracking, Ultrahuman took over viO HealthTech, the group that created OvuSense, a proven fertility tracker. Its temperature-detection algorithm, now incorporated into Ring Air, was trained on over 260,000 cycles and validated in 13 peer-reviewed studies.
With that pedigree, the ovulations ring does more than give calendar approximations, it offers users real-time insight into their own body’s rhythms. The feature identifies the time of ovulation, luteal phase duration and health, and any potential sign of absence of ovulation or hormonal imbalance.
With over 90% accuracy, according to Ultrahuman, based on clinical trials and filtering of high-quality data, this is a suitable option for smart fertility monitoring.
And because it monitors Core Body Temperature overnight, down to 0.003°C precisely, users get continuous monitoring without having to input manually, making it an ideal ring to track ovulation during sleep.
Smarter Way to Track Cycles
Traditional fertility monitors like OvuSense require inserting a vaginal sensor each night. Yet, Ultrahuman’s breakthrough has made it non-invasive now. Users simply wear the Ring Air ovulation tracker ring and can monitor fertility directly from their phones using an app to monitor fertility.
The ovulation ring for women comes with temperature-sensing technology works while you are asleep, and the app interprets the data into simple-to-understand insights. Users can tag symptoms and see cycle phases over time, making the system ever more personalized.
It is a great example of a smart track capability made simple.
According to the company, Cycle and Ovulation Pro supports fertility planning based on a broad array of cycle types. Whether you’re trying to conceive or better understand your hormonal health, this ring that tracks ovulation is your go to.
