Starlink and T-Mobile Hurricane Milton Satellite Connectivity 

As Hurricane Milton threatens to soon hit Florida, Starlink and T-Mobile have partnered to provide satellite-based cell receptor. 

This is in response to the devastation from Hurricane Helene just recently and to make sure emergency communication will be available when catastrophe may well take center stage. 

T-Mobile and Starlink Emergency Partnership 

The T-Mobile and Starlink partnership is powering on a direct to cell network that, for the very first time, gives T-Mobile customers the ability to send and receive SMS messages, even when the traditional mobile infrastructure may be compromised.

Concerned about the exclusivity of the SpaceX and T-Mobile plan to link Starlink satellites to cellphones, Elon Musk took to social media to reassure that the satellite service makes use of existing 4G LTE frequency bands that will make it compatible with most modern smartphones.
