Apple’s Fast and Scary New Show

Apple's Fast and Scary New Show Apple's Fast and Scary New Show

On October 30, Apple had a special event, the ‘Scary Fast’ one. It’s their tagline this time to announce the new Mac models powered by the next-generation M3 chip, the new USB-C Magic accessories and a new iPad mini.

“It will bring a whole new level of graphics to the Mac,” an Apple executive said during the event. “They are the most advanced chips ever built for a personal computer.”

The biggest announcements are:

A fresh 24-inch iMac powered by the M3 chip. This latest iMac boasts twice the speed of its predecessor and showcases an upgraded display with enhanced brightness and contrast ratios.

Apple said the M3 speeds are now up to 2.5x faster than on the M1 family of chips, and its core processing performance is up to 50% faster. The chips are built with 3 nanometer technology, which can support advanced graphics and artificial intelligence.

These new chips that’re up to twice as fast as the previous generation and they offer foremost improvements in graphics execution.

New USB-C Magic accessories

Apple announced new USB-C versions of the Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard, and Magic Trackpad. These new accessories will be available to purchase starting in November.

New iPad mini

A new iPad mini with a new design, a faster A16 Bionic chip, and a larger 10.5-inch display. The new iPad mini will be available to purchase starting in November.

On top of that, Apple is introducing the new versions of macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS. The new M3 chips are powerful to an extent that makes Apple more capable than ever.

Just so you know that the 30-minute Halloween-themed presentation was shot on the iPhone 15. It’s a smart and great way to promote ‘yourself by yourself’, it’s not a phenomenal marketing strategy but since Apple’s marketing abilities are boundless, with their loyal and huge fan base, it’s an exception for them.

As November approaches, we’ll await the reviews that will echo across various platforms and hopefully Apple fulfills its promises to be both fast and, dare to say, ‘scary’ but in its brilliance.
