The Global Carrier Community Meeting

^{On the 11th and 12th of February 2020, the Carrier Community (CC) hosted its 12th annual Global Carrier Community Meeting (GCCM). Several panels and talks took place featuring speakers from companies including, Microsoft, Three UK, and Lycamobile.}

^{Members of the CC consist of executives and decision makers representing over 350 operators from over 55 countries, who specialize in diverse sectors including, but not limited to, Data, ISP, IX, Satellite, Mobile, SMS, Cable, VAS, Voice, MVNO and OTT.}

^{The carrier community is an exclusive global telecommunications club for telecom carriers and wholesale providers that has over 8500 members globally. It organizes annual CC Global Awards, provides branding and media services and hosts a number of CC events in Europe, Asia, Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East and South America.}

^{The event gathered over a thousand members of the CC to discuss and exchange ideas, acquire knowledge about market trends and provide valuable networking opportunities. The most prominent topics discussed were:}

• ^{The building blocks and fundamentals of mobile wholesale.}
• ^{The role of women in technology today and in the future.}
• ^{The future of the telecom industry in a digital world.}
• ^{The role of Data Centers in the new business models related to the future digital demand.}
•  ^{The challenges and opportunities emerging from increasingly data reliant products and services.}

^{In 2020, CC will be hosting a number of other related events. On 11th and 12th of May, the annual CC-SMS Messaging Summit, and the 4th annual CC-Global Awards will take place in Berlin.}
