Samsung brings Galaxy A52s 5G smartphone to India

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G was launched in India this week, as the South Korean tech giant confirmed via a tweet.

The color options for the upcoming smartphone have also been confirmed: Awesome Black, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White. The new 5G device may retain the same specifications as the variant sold in the UK.

It may get a Snapdragon 778G SoC, a quad rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 4,500mAh battery, and a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display.

Additionally, Samsung also shared a link to get notified about the launch, whilst the new Galaxy products are now available in South Korea and the US, as well as in 37 European countries including the UK and France. In China, they will likely be released next month.

By October, they will be marketed in a total of 130 countries, including the Middle East and Central and South America.

Samsung remains the world’s largest phone maker with 22.7 percent of the market, according to the latest figures from IDC.

There seems to be some problem with Galaxy A52s 5G’s Amazon listings as its 6 GB RAM variant is listed for $530, whereas its 8 GB RAM edition is listed with a lower price of $490. Hence, readers are recommended not to order the device now and wait for its official announcement.

Samsung expects the new 5G-enabled foldables will be game changers in the premium smartphone segment, solidifying its No. 1 position in the smartphone market far ahead of Apple Inc. and China’s Xiaomi Inc.

As the name suggests, the handset will be a 5G-enabled phone, while Samsung India has also created a microsite of the upcoming phone. Those interested can register on the website to receive updates about Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G.

In case you are not aware, Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G was launched earlier this month in Europe. The Indian variant is likely to come with similar specs and features.
