The Eurasia Blockchain Summit: Here's What You Need to Know
First organized in 2019, the Eurasia Blockchain summit gathers key industry players from Central Asia, the Middle East, and several European countries. This blockchain technology summit allows the attendees to share the latest advancements in the field with like-minded individuals, from industry leaders and investors to blockchain enthusiasts and entrepreneurs. Additionally, this event has set Turkey, where 20 percent of the population holds crypto, on its path to becoming a blockchain powerhouse. Due to the recent pandemic, this blockchain technology summit was not held in 2021. In 2022, however, powered by Kemer Partners, it is scheduled for the 8th and 9th of October 2022 in Istanbul, Turkey. As for the future blockchain summit, the exact details of the event remain to be determined.

Opening the two-day event will be Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Dr. Çetin Ali Dönmez, and Co-Founder of Eurasia Blockchain, Ayperi Kaya.
The first segment of the blockchain summit will center around “Blockchain and its future.” In its simplest form, blockchain is an information recording system designed to protect cryptocurrency transactions and make it virtually impossible for an individual to alter, infiltrate, or deceive the system. - Sadullah Uzun – Vice President, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM
The following segment of this blockchain technology summit will discuss the “Fintech World.” Technology has made itself a non-negotiable part of the finance world, notably through recent technology seeking to improve and automate the delivery and use of financial services (i.e., your bank’s mobile application). The following speakers will be sharing how the advancements will impact financial companies and institutions:

Executive Director of Avalanche Foundation, Aytunç Yıldızlı, will discuss the security of the third generation following a presentation about the infrastructure gap between the generations.
Mihriban Ersin Tekmen, who co-founded Colendi and CovenLabs while remaining on the board of the former, will take the stage following a presentation series under “Female Power of Blockchain” to discuss the added value women bring to the table when they join the blockchain industry.
The first subject on the second day covers the blockchain ecosystem. A blockchain ecosystem is a network of all the participants in the blockchain network that share the business process and business objectives. Furthermore, its main components are the node application, distributed ledger, consensus algorithms, and virtual machine. Closing the Eurasia Blockchain Summit 2022 will be a series of presentations about investing in blockchain and encouraging the upcoming generation to get involved in this industry.
So Why Should You, as a Start-up, Attend the Summit?
Over one hundred exhibitors will display their products to potential investors at the end of the second day. Consequently, they will garner extensive attention. As an up-and-coming company, you get the opportunity to present your project to new potential investors. If nothing else, you will receive meaningful feedback through suggestions and support for your product. Any future blockchain summit would then feature better performing products.
