Don’t Miss Out on What Apple Announced at WWDC 2025

At WWDC 2025, Apple discussed the new iOS AI translation features and Vision Pro enhancements, revolutionizing communication & computing.

At WWDC 2025, Apple discussed its new iOS with AI translation features and Vision Pro enhancements, taking its smartphones to its next level of cross-language communication and spatial computing, with updates influencing device processing for real-time translations and introduce new enterprise-focused mixed reality tools.

What’s new on the iOS update?

The new iOS 26 update introduces live voice and text translations during Phone, FaceTime, and Messages, while Vision Pro gains Sony VR2 controller support and spatial computing tools, highlighting the iPhone parent’s push into immersive and AI technology, for privacy and professional use cases.

During the WWDC keynote, Apple’s director of input experience, Leslie Ikemoto, announced users will soon enjoy Apple live translation during calls, FaceTime, and messaging – all processed on-device for privacy – will initially support major languages like English, Spanish, French, and German, with more to follow.

Unlike cloud-dependent rivals, Apple’s system keeps data as a local selling point for security-conscious users, and third-party apps such as ChatGPT on Apple will also be able to integrate the technology via a new API, expanding its potential reach.

Vision Pro Boosted with Gaming, Enterprise Features

Apple’s mixed-reality headset is getting a major upgrade with MacOS Tahoe 26, including Sony VR2 controller, to support a strategic move to compete with Meta’s Quest headsets. Mike Rockwell, VP of Apple’s Vision products group, highlighted enterprise applications, with “hundreds of companies now use Vision Pro for design, training, and sales.”

New “spatial computing” features allow users to place virtual objects, like clocks and windows, in their real-world environment.

In parallel, Logitech’s Muse stylus enables precision drawing in 3D space, “with fluid motion tracking, Muse transforms creative workflows across a variety of disciplines, from designing intricate 3D models to brainstorming in virtual workspaces and bringing complex ideas to life with immersive tools,” according to the company.

With better multiplayer experiences and tighter security controls, Apple is pushing the liquid glass iOS Vision Pro beyond gaming into professional and collaborative spaces signaling its ambition to dominate with its new iOS the next computing frontier.
